In-house design work for tableware and kitchenware for Sowden at Home: the start-up brand of the Memphis designer George Sowden. Seemingly simple, these artifacts conceal thoughtful aesthetics, materic and functional exploration: the inviting soft shapes of the porcelain and the precision of the stainless steel.
Through iterative prototyping, testing, meticulous adjustments, the team developed a large range of appliances, including juicers, boilers and toasters, a full set of tableware and ovenware in porcelain, pirex, and clay.
The iconic "Cold-Brew" tea and coffe pots line, feature a patented microperforated filter, which offers an innovative cold-brewing experience.
